Disaster was avoided this morning thanks to a quick-thinking woman who saved a man from wandering into Aviator Nation. “It was just instinct,” said Nancy Soto, who’s being hailed as a hero. “He was drifting toward the store’s entrance and I caught him by the sleeve right before he set foot inside.” Soto said she feared the unsuspecting father-of-two was in danger of purchasing a bright pink trucker hat, or one of the brand's signature rainbow hoodies. "I think it's important to take action when we see a member of the community in crisis," added Soto.
Experts say Aviator Nation is considered safe for women and young adults, but carries extremely high risks for men over 40, for whom even brief contact with its 70's-inspired apparel can be catastrophic.
